We are young despite the years


When R.E.M. was younger, Michael Stipe had a 'fro, Peter Buck shook and jived convincingly, Mike Mills looked like a middle-schooler, and Bill Berry probably had no idea how to spell "aneurysm." And they were the coolest band in the world to me. Here they are, in their national television debut on October 6, 1983, playing "Radio Free Europe":

R.E.M freaking rule!!!I saw them live this year for the first time and they were amazing!They're one of my favourite bands,and one of the first bands I ever listened to.They mean so much to me,their music really touches me.
They were great when they were young,especially Michael Stipe,who was dangerously handsome...:)
